Haven't you only had this like a week? The Mustang modification bug is real

I just passed one week yesterday.

If you don’t mind me asking why this over a used 5.0?

Interesting, I’ve never seen that wheel design before on the new S550 Stangs. OEM?

He may have specifically wanted one of the new body style, and I doubt a ‘15 GT has come down that much in price.

An 11/12 might have. And I could understand that the new body style does look great

It's the Ecoboost performance pack wheel but instead of black it's like a polished steel

I don’t really like the previous gen, and 15 GTs are quite a bit more expensive. Also I wanted an Ecoboost. Nothing against you, but I find it amusing how hard it is for people to accept that. It’s a damn good motor, and a great car all around. No, it doesn’t make cool V8 noises and it’s not 400 hp, but it has more power than any stock Mustang did until the Coyote came around.
I almost wish Ford would have called this the Capri or something and made a different car the V8 Mustang. Then no one would question ‘why didn’t you get a V8?’

I guess it all comes down to personal taste. When I think of Mustang usually I think of a V8. (Although my dad owned an old SVO and that thing was great that turbo lag was very amusing.)
The Ecoboost is an amazing engine but I just didn’t think the magazines had given it that great of a review. Which is kinda the main reason I would rather have an old 5.0 over the newer Ecoboost because they all loved the old 5.0.

The Ecoboost was reviewed decently. Jay Leno actually made a remark in his GT350 video that he liked it more than the V8
The new car is so far beyond the old one I wouldn’t even bother comparing the two. It’s a better car, regardless of the engine. I’m just an intake and tune away from 370 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque anyways, and I get 32+ miles to the gallon on the highway.

That’s pretty neat, I’m sure that’ll help set it apart!

Very true. And I imagine it is a good bit lighter than the V8 as well.
I still need to watch Jay’s video from weeks ago. I procrastinate way too much!

The standard wheels are not half bad, but these are very striking. Cost?

$950 with TPMS. Which is actually a hell of a deal for an OEM wheel. With TPMS the cheapest wheel this size from Tirerack would have only been maybe $40 less per wheel.

Nice! I was searching for some ML wheels made by BBS, and all I found were a £750 set from a British retailer. Maybe I’ll wait.
This is for a 14 year-old, long out-of-production Mercedes-Benz, mind you.
Still beats a $4,000 set of OEMs for the F30.
